Δηοῖ λικμαίῃ καὶ ἐναυλακοφοίτισιν Ὥραις
Ἡρῶναξ πενιχρῆς ἐξ ὀλιγηροσίης
μοῖραν ἀλωΐτα στάχυος, πάνσπερμά τε ταῦτα
ὄσπρι᾽ ἐπὶ πλακίνου τοῦδ᾽ ἔθετο τρίποδος,

ἐκ μικρῶν ὀλίγιστα: πέπατο γὰρ οὐ μέγα τοῦτο
κληρίον ἐν λυπρῇ τῇδε γεωλοφίῃ.
